We are excited to announce a 6 week beach volleyball program at Lake Wilcox that will be focusing on technical beach volleyball training along with strength and conditioning.
This program will be for High Performance athletes looking to get extra touches prior to their indoor season and athletes wanting to fine tune their skills for the upcoming Beach Provincial and National Championships.
-
The classes will be held on court #1 at Lake Wilcox in Richmond Hill every Wednesday from 8:45pm-9:45pm. We ask that athletes try to arrive slightly earlier to warm up and begin promptly at 8:45pm.
There is a paid parking lot located at the courts that is free to residents of the area. Please register your vehicle online if you haven’t already done so.
Please arrive in appropriate beach attire and make sure to bring a water bottle with you.
-
This session will be offered outdoors so please check the weather before arriving and make sure to dress appropriately. Classes will be happening rain or shine with the exception of lightning and unsafe conditions.
If the weather worsens during class we will exit the courts and take shelter under the roof next to the courts. We will wait at least 20 minutes for the weather to pass before calling parents. If conditions improve we will extend the class time. If a class is canceled due to weather conditions we will offer a make up class at a later date.
